Young Scientist Award for Semiconductor Researcher

Yusuf Günel, a Ph.D. student at the Division of Semiconductor Nanoelectronics (PGI-9) has won a Young Scientist award at the International Conference on the Physics of Semiconductors (ICPS) in Zurich. He received the ICPS Young Scientist Best Paper Award for his presentation of the scientific article “Supercurrent and Magnetoresistance-Oscillations in Nb/InAs-Nanowire/Nb Josephson junctions”. The ICPS is one of the most important conferences held in the field of semiconductor physics and took place from 29 July to 3 August 2012 for the 31st time.
