Publications on CR® Neuromodulation for Tinnitus

Jülich, 20 March 2012 – Treating chronic tonal tinnitus with selective acoustic stimuli (coordinated reset, CR®) provides significant relief of tinnitus symptoms.

It, moreover, also leads to a considerable decrease in the pathological brain activity which is the cause of tinnitus. This is the result of a study published in the current edition of the journal “Restorative Neurology and Neuroscience”. In three other specialist publications, the team of scientists headed by Prof. Peter Tass from Forschungszentrum Jülich present the theoretical principles underlying the application and mode of action of the treatment.
