Supercomputers and simulation were the topics of this year's keynote lecture at the Rhineland Regional Museum (LVR-LandesMuseum) in Bonn

Jülich, 15 November 2012 – Global climate, brain research and energy research are just three of the areas in which supercomputer simulations have become indispensable. In his keynote lecture before an invited audience of representatives from politics, science and industry as well as employees of Forschungszentrum Jülich at LVR-LandesMuseum in Bonn, Prof. Thomas Lippert spoke about how supercomputers have changed science, the part they play today and what new insights they make possible.
