Jülich Trainee at World Trainee Championship in Abu Dhabi

Three-day competition attracts participants from all over the world

Jülich, 16 October 2017 – Philipp Winterscheid, a trainee at Forschungszentrum Jülich, began competing at the WorldSkills vocational skills competition in Abu Dhabi on Sunday, acting as an ambassador for Jülich and Germany. The 19-year-old electronics technician from Baesweiler, who specializes in industrial engineering, faced three days of competition against highly qualified specialist colleagues from all over the world.
