New School Subject at St. Ursula: Energy and the Environment

Jülich, 9 November 2017 – Is the Earth really getting warmer and warmer? How can energy be produced from renewable resources? These are just two of many intriguing questions that the 18 pupils in the eighth class of the Bischöfliches Gymnasium St. Ursula school in Geilenkirchen are seeking to answer. They will do so as part of a new specialist subject focusing on energy and the environment, which begins this school year. The JuLab schools laboratory as well as scientists at Forschungszentrum Jülich from the fields of energy, environment, and climate will support the pupils in their efforts.
