New Literature Database – Dimensions

Database with documents from roughly 90 million scientific publications, 35 million patents, 3.7 million funding programmes, and 383,000 clinical studies

8 June 2018

The Central Library has licensed access to Dimensions, a database for scientific publications that is currently being established. Dimensions is comparable to Web of Science and Scopus, with the exception that part of it is freely accessible.

With this new licence, Forschungszentrum Jülich will also gain access to documents on research funding, patents, and clinical studies. Furthermore, Dimensions allows to redesign literature search, find supplementary information such as citation figures and visualizations, and discover potential partners on the basis of relevant topics.
