New Laboratories for Jülich Photovoltaics Officially Opened

Jülich, 22 February 2012 – Leading representatives from science and politics today officially opened the photovoltaics pilot production facility at Forschungszentrum Jülich. With 560 square metres of floor space, the laboratory provides state-of-the-art facilities for testing and further developing thin-film solar modules made from silicon. The new building costing € 2.1 million is equipped with chemical and experimental facilities and physical measurement laboratories.
