Science on the Move

Participants Wanted for Project

Jülich, 6 May 2013 – Forschungszentrum Jülich will be conducting experiments from 19 to 22 June that will be the largest of their kind in the world – and is still looking for participants. The movements of up to 1,000 pedestrians will be recorded each day on the grounds of Messe Düsseldorf. The aim of the experiment is to achieve a better understanding of the internal dynamics of large groups of people in order to improve safety at large public events.
