More safety at large events: Forschungszentrum Jülich begins experiment for BaSiGo project
Jülich, 19 June 2013 – Forschungszentrum Jülich is conducting experiments from 19 to 22 June that are the largest of their kind in the world. The movements of up to 1,000 pedestrians will be recorded each day at Messe Düsseldorf. The aim of the experiment is to achieve a better understanding of the internal dynamics of crowds of people in order to improve safety at large public events.
