14th regional heat of young scientists’ competition "Jugend forscht – Schüler experimentieren" at Forschungszentrum Jülich
Jülich, 6 February 2014 – Do singers’ pulses synchronize when they sing together? Could a deposit system be developed for cigarette butts? Answers to these and many more questions will be provided at the regional heat of the German young scientists’ competition "Jugend forscht – Schüler experimentieren". Forschungszentrum Jülich is hosting the event this year for the 14th time. According to the organizers at the JuLab Schools Laboratory, record numbers of school students will be taking part – 104 girls and boys have signed up. They will present the results of their projects to interested visitors on Friday, 14 February, from 14:30 in the foyer of the lecture theatre. The presentation of certificates and prizes will take place from 16:00.
