Making the Air Cleaner in Bad Homburg
Measurement campaign takes Jülich atmosphere researchers to the health resort in Hessen
Jülich/Bad Homburg v. d. Höhe, 16 April 2014 – What is the quality of the air in Bad Homburg actually like? This is what the town wants to know, and this is the reason why they have commissioned Forschungszentrum Jülich with measurements. Scientists from the Institute of Energy and Climate Research are investigating the air in the town as a whole as well as in its periphery. The focus is on nitrogen oxide and the level of fine dust in the air, which pose a problem in the health resort. The measurement campaign was presented today in a press conference in Bad Homburg. Extensive measurement results and their analysis should be ready by the end of the year.
