Helmholtz Institute Established in Münster

Jülich/Münster/Aachen, 10 June 2014 – Energy storage is one of the central issues involved in the successful transformation of the energy sector and in the expansion of electromobility. The Helmholtz Institute Münster (HI MS) will provide a considerable boost to this important field of research. The institute will pool the expertise of Forschungszentrum Jülich, RWTH Aachen University, and the University of Münster in battery research.
