Research Flights over Asia

Jülich/Bremen/Tainan, 21 March 2018 – An international team of atmospheric researchers is currently investigating the air quality of large Asian cities. The scientists are using the HALO research aircraft of the German Aerospace Center (DLR) for the month-long measurement campaign. On board the aircraft is a device from Forschungszentrum Jülich’s Institute of Energy and Climate Research. The project is headed by the University of Bremen.
