Research on gender-specific differences in Alzheimer’s disease

Jülich/Düsseldorf, 27 March 2018 – Alzheimer’s researcher Dr. Gérard Nisal Bischof from University Hospital Cologne and Forschungszentrum Jülich is to be awarded the Kurt Kaufmann prize by the German Alzheimer’s research initiative AFI. The neuroscientist will receive the prize for his work on gender-specific differences in Alzheimer’s disease. The Kurt Kaufmann prize is endowed with € 10,000. The award ceremony will take place on 29 June in Cologne.
