Bachelor thesis: Calibration of growth rates under different Oxygen partial pressures
When growing Oxides in co-deposition with an MBE the exact determination of the growth rates is an important pre-requisite for stoichiometric samples. Within this bachelor thesis the rates and tooling factors for our most commonly used materials should be determined at our state of the art MBE system. It is important to know the dependence of the rates on the oxygen partial pressure.
The work includes the growth of thin films under different conditions and the exact thickness determination with XRR. Subsequently the tooling factors of the material sources should be calibrated.
