Are you a university student or a graduate in the field of engineering or science and would like to get to know Forschungszentrum Jülich at first hand? We are pleased to offer you the chance to find out more about Forschungszentrum Jülich as an employer and to get to know our campus as part of a visitor tour.

You will have the opportunity to take a bus tour of our campus, gaining an overview of our research fields. You will also visit the Institute of Energy and Climate Research – Microstructure and Properties of Materials (IEK-2), the Institute of Neuroscience and Medicine – Medical Imaging Physics (INM-4), and the Jülich Supercomputing Centre (JSC), where you will gain a deeper insight into the topics researched at these institutes.

A series of talks on the subject of doctorates at Jülich will take place in the afternoon. Doctoral students at Forschungszentrum Jülich will report on their work and be on hand to answer your questions. You will also find out more about the career opportunities and working conditions at Jülich.

Due to the multitude of research conducted at Jülich, it is not possible to introduce you to all institutes and research topics. The event does, however, offer the opportunity for you to gain an informative initial insight into the everyday work undertaken at one of the largest research centres in Europe. Furthermore, you may gain valuable contacts through exchanges with experts from science and administration.

Please register by 13 April. Note that the number of participants is limited to 25. You can register by emailing

We look forward to welcoming you to Forschungszentrum Jülich on 18 April.
