Ion Migration in the Nanoworld
The energy required by information technologies is growing rapidly. At the same time, transistor technology is set to reach its natural limits in the foreseeable future. Together with his team and with international companies, Jülich scientist Prof. Rainer Waser investigates memristive cells that could establish themselves as an energy-efficient alternative for data storage over the next few years.
