Division Computational Science

The Computational Science division is staffed by scientists from a wide range of physics, chemistry, biology and mathematics disciplines. It houses the Simulation Laboratories in Biology, Plasma Physics and Molecular Systems and a Research Group in Quantum Information.

The Simulation Laboratories provide advanced support to academic groups from their respective fields, strengthening this high-level advisory capability through their own research on scalable algorithms for present and future architectures.

Regular division meetings are held fortnightly (Tuesdays, 10:30) and usually include a seminar by group members or guests highlighting recent work or visits to conferences and workshops.
