Practical training for pupils at JSC

Jülich Supercomputing Centre offers an internship for sixth formers of schools nearby who are interested in mathematics and computer science.

• Time: Week before Easter holidays

• Venue: JSC computer lab with eight places (max. number of participiants)

In this one-week internship students learn about:

1. Day: Parallel processing, MATSE education and the bachelor course Scientific Programming
2. Day: Computer aided mathematics
3. Day: Graphics and Virtual Reality at JSC
4. Day: Internetworking
5. Day: Internet security, final report
