How to Acknowledge Granted Resources on Supercomputers at JSC

Papers, presentations, and other publications containing results obtained on the supercomputers at JSC must include proper acknowledgements and the HPC system used must additionally be cited properly. The wording of the acknowledgement depends on the context in which the resources where granted. Please choose the text appropriate for your project from the list below.

Resources on JUQUEEN

JUQUEEN must be cited in all publications in the following way:

[1] Jülich Supercomputing Centre. (2015). JUQUEEN: IBM Blue Gene/Q Supercomputer System at the Jülich Supercomputing Centre. Journal of large-scale research facilities, 1, A1. doi:10.17815/jlsrf-1-18

Download BibTex file for JUQUEEN citation (txt, 391 Byte)

The reference style can be adapted according to the publications citiation rules.

Furthermore, you must acknowledge the resources used with the text appropriate for your project chosen from the list below.

GCS large-scale projects

The authors gratefully acknowledge the Gauss Centre for Supercomputing e.V. (www.gauss-centre.eu) for funding this project by providing computing time on the GCS Supercomputer JUQUEEN at Jülich Supercomputing Centre (JSC).

Regular GCS/NIC projects

The authors gratefully acknowledge the Gauss Centre for Supercomputing e.V. (www.gauss-centre.eu) for funding this project by providing computing time through the John von Neumann Institute for Computing (NIC) on the GCS Supercomputer JUQUEEN at Jülich Supercomputing Centre (JSC).

JARA-HPC projects

The authors gratefully acknowledge the computing time granted by the JARA-HPC Vergabegremium and provided on the JARA-HPC Partition part of the supercomputer JUQUEEN at Forschungszentrum Jülich.

Additionally, the affiliation of the PI with JARA-HPC has to be included in the author list.

VSR projects

The authors gratefully acknowledge the computing time granted by the JARA-HPC Vergabegremium and VSR commission provided on the JARA-HPC Partition part of the supercomputer JUQUEEN at Forschungszentrum Jülich.

Additionally, the affiliation of the PI with JARA-HPC has to be included in the author list.

Resources on JURECA

JURECA must be cited in all publications in the following way:

[2] Jülich Supercomputing Centre. (2016). JURECA: General-purpose supercomputer at Jülich Supercomputing Centre. Journal of large-scale research facilities, 2, A62. doi:10.17815/jlsrf-2-121

Download BibTex file for JURECA citation (txt, 379 Byte)

The reference style can be adapted according to the publications citiation rules.
