Wie Zellen fest zusammen halten

Our article in Nature Physics: How cells stick together

In the formation and stability of cell-cell contacts, physical effects play an important role. To this conclusion comes a new investigation, reported by "Nature Physics". Dr. Susanne Fenz conducted the experiments together with Prof. Rudolf Merkel at the Institute of Complex Systems at Forschungszentrum Jülich. Now the biophysicist works at the Biozentrum of the University of Würzburg. Researchers from Stuttgart, Erlangen and Marseille are also involved.
