As part of the Helmholtz Alliance MEM-BRAIN every year a summer school takes place for young scientists in the field of membrane research.
The spanish Instituto de Tecnología Química (Council for Scientific Research CSIC - Universidad Politécnica de Valencia UPV) will organize the MEM-BRAIN and NASA-OTM Summer School from Sept 8th to 10th 2010, with the topic focus in
"Ceramic membranes for green chemical production and clean power generation".

  • Hydrogen permeable membranes
  • Advanced manufacturing techniques
  • Application to catalytic processes and advanced separations
  • Theoretical modelling of transport, surface chemistry and absorption.
  • Shape-selective separation on porous membranes

The registration fee for the summer school, which includes proceedings, lunches and Dinner, is:
Until 12th July: 250 € Students | 350 € Non students
PhD students should proof that they are students.
