IHRS-BioSoft Symposium

Registration and abstract submission (Registration deadline: 2 March 2018)

IHRS BioSoft Symposium 2017

Although development towards highly sophisticated and useful molecular machines is still in its infancy, significant breakthroughs have already showcased the range of prospects that can be achieved. From molecular machines to networks of cells, from chemical motions to protein interaction, a combination of experiments, theory, and simulations is required to characterize and construct new machines. This symposium aims to provide an interdisciplinary get-together for the young scientist, with an overview of the field of molecular and biological machines.

Organizers: C. Abaurrea Velasco, C. Alleva, D. Petrovic

Registration, costs and poster submission

Posters can be presented by anyone who registers. A limited number of slots for short talks is available. For a short talk, please also submit a short letter of motivation (max 1 page). Young scientists selected to give short talks will get small travel grants.

If you are interested in presenting a poster or a short talk, please provide an abstract with up to 200 words. Students and young researchers are encouraged to present their work – this is a great chance to discuss with the invited speakers and the faculty. We will try to accommodate all posters, but priority will be given to those submitted earlier.

Registration and abstract submission

Registration is free of charge and is now open until February 16, 2018. Due to limited number of seats, registration is mandatory for all, including IHRS BioSoft fellows and FZ Jülich employees. Participation will be confirmed on a first come, first served basis.

If you have questions, please email us at biosoft.symp@gmail.com.
