Institute of Neuroscience and Medicine

Navigation and service

The section Ethics in the Neurosciences (INM-8) is concerned with ethical and conceptual problems raised by current neuroscientific research.

Philosophy, in particular ethics, philosophy of science and philosophy of mind, as well as psychology and social sciences jointly contribute to the work at INM-8.

The close linkage to neuroscientific research in the Institute for Neuroscience and Medicine and, moreover, to the research in the entire Forschungszentrum Jülich is a unique feature of INM-8.
