JCNS Workshop 2012

Trends and Perspectives in Neutron Scattering for Soft Matter and Biophysics

8-11 October 2012, Tutzing, Germany

Excursion and Dinner

The afternoon and evening of October 10, 2012 are reserved for an excursion and subsequently the workshop dinner.

Around 1910 famous painters like Wassily Kandinsky, Franz Marc, August Macke and Alexej Jawlensky visited and settled  in the foothills of the Alps south of Munich and, inspired by the beautiful landscape, created numerous paintings forming the roots of modern art at least in Germany.

We will take a bus and visit the Franz Marc Museum in the village of Kochel.

After this we will make a ride to Murnau and have the workshop dinner in the „Griesbräu“, a restaurant and micro brewery serving original bavarian food and home-brewed beer.
