The John von Neumann Institute for Computing (NIC) provides supercomputer capacity
for projects in science, research and industry in the fields of modelling
and computer simulation.
As a joint foundation of the three Helmholtz Centres Forschungszentrum Jülich,
Deutsches Elektronensynchrotron DESY, and GSI Helmholtzzentrum für Schwerionenforschung
it supports computational science in Germany and Europe.
