PGI in the Helmholtz Association
The Peter Grünberg Institute is an institute of Forschungszentrum Jülich in the Helmholtz Association of German Research Centres (HGF).
The Helmholtz Association is Germany's largest research organization. More than 38,000 employees work at its 18 research centres to produce top-rate scientific results. HGF identifies and takes on the grand challenges of society, science and economy to ensure the sustainable development of our future.
Research at PGI is conducted within the HGF’s framework of programme-oriented funding. Within the HGF research field “Key Technologies”, we are working on the programme “Future Information Technology (FIT) – Fundamentals, Novel Concepts, and Energy Efficiency”.
