Poster award for Philipp Rinklin
Philipp Rinklin received the poster award in the category ‘Lab-on-a-Chip Applications’ during the Workshop on “Engineering of Functional Interfaces” EnFI 2011 in Linz. The prize was awarded for his outstanding work on chip-based actuation of magnetic particles. His project aims at precisely addressing individual cells in a cellular network for chemical and mechanical stimulation. Philipp Rinklin is a member of the Helmholtz Young Investigator group working on Cell-Chip Communication in the Institute of Bioelectronics (PGI-8/ICS-8).
The EnFI is an annual workshop. In 2012 it will be hosted by the University of Applied Sciences, Zweibrücken.
