Korean delegation visits PGI-9

Within the framework of the “Korean-German Forum on Nanotechnology“ Korean Experts visited Northrhine Westphalia from August 28th to 30th, 2013. The meeting was organized by the Cluster NanoMikroWerkstoffePhotonik.NRW.

During the meeting the Korean delegation also had a chance to visit the Research Centre Jülich. At the Peter Grünberg Institute (PGI-9) the Korean vistors got insight into the activities on nanoelectronics, where the new Helmholtz Nanoelectronic Facitity, the research on Si-based nanostrurtures as well as the basic research on semiconductor nanowires were introduced.
