Jülich’s End-of-Year Lecture 2012
Supercomputers and Simulation – Bridging the Limits of Knowledge
- LVR-LandesMuseum Bonn
In this year's keynote lecture at the end-of-year ceremony, Prof. Dr. Dr. Thomas Lippert, Director of the Jülich Supercomputing Centre, will give us new insights into the world of supercomputing. Today, simulation on computers of the highest performance class is a decisive factor for success in science and industry. Scientists use such simulations as a bridge between theory and experiment to open up new horizons.
This year's keynote lecture will be held on 12 November 2012 starting at 18:00 in the Rhineland Regional Museum (LVR-LandesMuseum) in Bonn. (The lecture will be in German with simultaneous interpretation into English).
Please note that this event is by invitation only.
