Project Management Jülich

As one of the leading project management agencies in Germany, Project Management Jülich (PtJ) works hand in hand with public authorities in science, industry, and policy-making. PtJ provides important impetus for research and innovation policy, is responsible for both the scientific aspects and administration of innovation funding programmes in the context of project funding, and provides its clients in public authorities with support in all spheres of innovation activity.

In the four business areas of key technologies, energy, sustainable economy, and non-technology-specific innovation funding, PtJ integrates national and European funding with the aim of enhancing Germany's competitiveness as a prime location for research and innovation in a common European Research Area.

As a largely independent organization, PtJ is affiliated with Forschungszentrum Jülich. In addition to its headquarters in Jülich, PtJ has three more offices in Berlin, Rostock, and Bonn.

Project Management Jülich is active on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi), the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Building and Nuclear Safety (BMUB), the Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure (BMVI) as well as on behalf of the states of Bavaria, Baden-Württemberg, North Rhine-Westphalia, and Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania.
