Inauguration of JUGENE, JUROPA and HPC-FF

Jülich Supercomputing Centre, 26th May 2009

No less than three supercomputers for European research were unveiled in Jülich in May 2009: the petaflop computer JUGENE, the cluster computer JUROPA, and the High Performance Computer for Fusion HPC-FF. The Federal Minister for Education and Research, Prof. Dr. Annette Schavan, and the then Prime Minister of North Rhine-Westphalia, Dr. Jürgen Rüttgers took part in the ceremony.
