Data protection

Every time a user accesses a webpage hosted by Forschungszentrum GmbH and every time a file is requested, data connected to these processes are stored in a log. These data do not contain personal information; we are unable to trace which user accessed what information. Personal user profiles therefore cannot be created. The data that is saved will be used for statistical purposes only. This information will not be disclosed to third parties.

This website does not make use of technologies that allow the access behaviour of users to be traced.

Should you use email to order and/or purchase information material from Forschungszentrum GmbH, your personal data will be saved and used solely for the purpose of sending you the material you requested. If you register by email as a participant for any of the events run by Forschungszentrum GmbH, your personal information will also be saved by us. These personal data will be used solely for registration purposes and related contracts. Personal data will also be passed on to the respective organiser of the event(s). The data will not be used for any other purpose nor will they be disclosed to any other recipients.

The provision of data upon registration implies agreement to their use for this purpose. Data collected by Forschungszentrum GmbH may be used within the institution itself and by the organisers of the event. To the latter, we will only disclose those data deemed necessary for the provision of the corresponding services. Forschungszentrum Jülich GmbH is committed to ensuring the protection of your personal data and the exclusive use of these data for the explicit purposes defined by you. We make every effort to protect your data from loss, misuse, unauthorised access, unauthorised disclosure, falsification and deletion. Within our institution, your data are saved on a password-protected server to which only a limited number of people have access.
