Navigation and service

Once you have received confirmation of your visit, it is important that you bear in mind the following:

  • Please inform all participants that they will need to present their national identity card (or passport) for registration on the day of the visit.
  • We will need a complete list of participants two weeks before your visit. We can either send you the form for this list by email or you can download it here.
  • As we will have to divide your group into smaller groups in the case of a large number of participants, we would like to ask to inform us in advance – if necessary – of who would like to visit which institute.
  • For the (optional) lunch break, guest cards can be purchased in the canteen (Seecasino) for € 10. Additional funds can be loaded onto the card if required. At the end of lunch, the money left on the cards can be refunded at machines in the Seecasino. The visitor guide will be happy to help you with guest cards. Guests to Forschungszentrum Jülich pay a surcharge of € 1 for their lunch. It would be very helpful if you could collect € 10 from every participant before arriving in the canteen (e.g. during the bus journey) to ensure that the guest cards can be issued as quickly as possible.
  • You should arrive at Forschungszentrum Jülich via the main entrance. You will find information on how to reach us here.
  • If you are travelling to Jülich in your own bus, we will assume that this bus is available to you throughout your visit to Forschungszentrum Jülich.
