For those interested in music, there is a male- and female-voice choir at the Research Centre. You will find other opportunities in the town.

There are naturally a wide range of opportunities for sports in Jülich. Here are a few tips:


Events and Other Institutions
In Jülich town centre you will find the Kulturhaus am Hexenturm (in Kleine Rurstraße) which houses  the public library, dem  the town's archives and the  museum of local history. In the Kulturhaus you will find posters or brochures with information about leisure and cultural activities in Jülich. The monthly programme of events, "Jülich aktuell", is also available in bookshops, banks and the Seecasino.

The  Roncalli-Haus at Stiftsherrenstraße 19 houses die KOT (recreational activities for children and young people), the Catholic library and the Catholic Students' Association (KSG). Furthermore, there are function and meeting rooms for parish events.  Kirche in Jülich provides information on the programmes of the Catholic and Protestant churches in Jülich..

 Aachen University of Applied Sciences ( Jülich section) also has its own cultural events. The  Volkshochschule Jülich offers a wide range of daytime and evening courses with something for everybody (including languages, computer courses, health and sports, culture and creative courses).

An overview of the museums in the region can also be obtained from the  Museums portal "WebMuseen".

The central idea of  Jülich International Club is to establish and maintain contacts between its foreign and German members, and also with the people of Jülich as well as with similar organizations in Germany and abroad. The special concern of the club is also to help foreigners working in Jülich become acclimatized here.

 Jülich Information e.V. is an organization that would like to introduce visitors to the fascinating mixture of historic fortress town and modern research centre found here.
