First international Advanced Course on 13C-based Metabolic Flux Analysis in Jülich

The first advanced course on 13C-based metabolic flux analysis will take place at the IBG-1 in November 21-25, 2011. The intensive training course will be unique in bringing together experts from academia and industry, leaders in the field, interested in the in-depth assessment of the practical challenges involved with the model-based 13C-MFA technology. The intensive training course will feature mathematical modeling, the cutting-edge simulator 13CFLUX2 and all major topics relevant for the planning, analysis and planning of labeling experiments with emphasis on practical applications with 13CFLUX2. The last day of the course is dedicated to a scientific workshop presenting the recent important developments in 13C-MFA related technologies, ranging from quantitative metabolomics to Cloud and Grid-Computing.

The course is organized by the Modeling & Simulation group at the IBG-1: Biotechnology. Further information can be found here.
