Head of the working group: nuclear medicine brain tumour diagnostics

Fields of interest

  • Evaluation and clinical assessment of new radiopharmaceuticals for nuclear medicine diagnostics
  • Evaluation of the enrichment mechanisms of radiolabeled amino acids in experimental brain tumours and other lesions using autoradiography
  • Therapeutic evaluation of novel Alzheimer's amyloid-β binding peptide ligands using behavioral assays, positron emission tomography (PET), and autoradiography
  • Evaluation of intratumoural accumulation of radiolabelled amino acids in brain tumours using positron emission tomography in comparison with modern methods of functional magnetic resonance imaging (hybrid MR-PET) and clinical application of correlative MR-PET imaging in diagnosis, therapy planning and therapy monitoring in patients with brain tumours
