I am interested in information processing of networks in the brain. The network structure is important to investigate the neural information processing in the brain. Therefore, I reconstruct structural connectivity by using diffusion-weighted images and apply it to generate brain responses (fMRI BOLD signal) via mathematical whole brain modeling. By comparing between generated and empirical BOLD signals, we can validate the mathematical model. After the validation, the whole brain model is applicable to simulation or prediction of brain dynamics in clinical situations or cognitive researches.
