As a medical doctorate student at the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry of the RWTH Aachen I study resting-state functional connectivity in patients with Anorexia nervosa. Combining longitudinal data from acute patients with data from long-term recovered individuals we will investigate local and global alterations of functional connectivity and how these may vary over the clinical course of the disorder. Potential findings could contribute to the identification of diagnostic and prognostic biomarkers.
