Hands-on Genomes and Floating Trains

Forschungszentrum Jülich with BIO.NRW and NEAnderLAB at NRW Celebrations

Jülich, 29 September 2011 – A floating model railway, DNA at your fingertips and atoms as building blocks – all this is waiting for visitors to North Rhine-Westphalia's celebrations in Bonn in the science tent jointly organized by Forschungszentrum Jülich, BIO.NRW Biotechnology Cluster and the schools laboratory NEAnderLAB in Hilden. From 1 to 3 October, the three institutions will be running hands-on experiments, demonstrations and a science quiz to celebrate the Day of German Unity and the foundation of the federal state of North Rhine-Westphalia in 1946 at the "Innovation Boulevard" in Bonn.
