DFG provides more than € 2 million to develop new technique

Jülich/Düsseldorf, 9 November 2011 – By combining two established techniques, scientists hope to obtain more information about complex biomolecules and also to be able to perform detailed investigations of surfaces in materials science. A team of researchers from Düsseldorf and Jülich have received more than € 2 million in funding from the German Research Foundation (DFG) in order to refine the technique of dynamic nuclear polarization – nuclear magnetic resonance (DNP-NMR).
