Electrochemical detection of single molecules is pagued by miniscule currents that are easily lost in large bulk electrodes. To improve detection down to the single molecule level, we are developing nanoparticle based systems for electrochemical detection. We will demonstrate our custom designed amplifier system and how nanoparticle systems can be combined with multi-electrode arrays for multichannel measurements and multiplexing of electrochemical signals.

Visitors must wear closed shoes and clothing that meets the shoes, i.e., sneakers and jeans.

Online registration is mandatory and all places are subject to availability; you will receive an email confirmation once your place on the seminar is reserved.

This Labs! event is offered in collaboration with the IFF Spring School.
