(Neutron Scattering and Soft Matter)

The small angle scattering technique is demonstrated on selected systems in the field of soft matter physics and nano science. At the Xenocs instrument we will discuss the use of different scattering probes, going from x-rays to neutrons and their significance for the investigation of typical multiphase struc- tures. It will be shown that complementary information with the same sample is gained, leading to a decoupling of the scattering contributions and an improved characterization of the sample.

Online registration is mandatory and all places are subject to availability; you will receive an email confirmation once your place on the seminar is reserved. This lab visit will be offered twice, from 9:15am to 10:00 and from 11:15am to noon. When you register, please pay attention to the starting time.

This Labs! event is offered in collaboration with the IFF Spring School.
