The first Jülich Summer Academy will end with an "Autumn Get-together 2023" on campus on 26 September 2023 from 15:30 - 19:00. All participants, organizers, and others who are interested are welcome to attend.

The highlight of this event is a lecture by Prof. Dr. Ir. Dr. h.c. Joost-Pieter Katoen looking at the challenges on the way towards implementing a quantum computer that can actually be used.

Prof. Katoen is Head of the Software Modeling and Verification group at RWTH Aachen University.

In his lecture entitled “Efficient and Reliable Hard- and Software: Dream or Reality?”, he will look at how mathematical theories and methods can be applied to model and verify aspects of software trustworthiness, such as correctness, security, reliability, performance, and resilience.
