What is presented?

Neuroelectronic interfaces, particularly invasive brain-computer interfaces (iBCI), are developing rapidly. These ground-breaking technologies provide unprecedented insight into the complex networks of the brain and hold enormous potential for restoring lost neuronal functions. A new generation of flexible, tissue-compatible iBCIs that can interact seamlessly with different neuronal structures is currently being developed. The iBCIs, which are currently undergoing rigorous preclinical testing, are paving the way for various neural applications, such as high-tech acupuncture for pain management and advanced visual prostheses for vision restoration.

The lecture will be held in English.
