Microstructure Evolution in Solid Solution Strengthened Nickel Alloy under Thermomechanical Loading
The goal of this research is the development of a model for the microstructure evolution in solid solution strengthened Hastelloy X under thermomechanical loading. For this purpose, a coupling of Cosserat Crystal Plasticity and KWC Orientation Phase-field theories will be employed to implement a material model and perform FE simulations on high-performance computers. Qualitative and quantitative results will be obtained and compared with experimental data.
