Division Award in Nuclear Chemistry from the German Chemical Society (GDCh)

Dr. Jenna Poonoosamy was awarded the Prize of the Division of Nuclear Chemistry of the German Chemical Society (GDCh) for her work in the field of radiogeochemistry. The prize is awarded every four years to dedicated scientists who have produced outstanding independent research in the field of nuclear chemistry early in their scientific careers.

Dr. Jenna Poonoosamy received the award at the division’s annual meeting on November 6, 2024, in Karlsruhe. She presented her research achievements in a lecture titled “The fate of radium in energy-related subsurface applications: From the laboratory to the real world.”
