Thomas Schäpers (PGI-9) as visiting professor in Japan

For three years now, Thomas Schäpers, PGI-9, has been a visiting professor at the Institute of Material Science at Tohoku University in Sendai, Japan. After only being able to give his lecture online in recent years, he was now on site for the first time. In addition to his lecture series on quantum computing, he also gave a talk on PGI-9's activities in the field of semiconductor nanowires, an area in which PGI-9 works closely with the Institute of Material Science at Tohoku University.
