Mathematical Physics

About

The Mathematical Physics group at PGI-12 studies a variety of topics employing analytical tools. We approach the problems of interest through mathematical theories applied to simple models that can be treated without the need for numerical tools, and that yield results in terms of mathematical equations, techniques or theorems.

Research Topics

  • Cavity quantum field dynamics
  • Optomechanics in the nonlinear regime
  • Photonics in flat and curved spacetime
  • Quantum Fields in curved spacetime
  • Quantum Thermodynamics
