9th Heidelberg Laureate Forum
18 – 23 September 2021
2 December 2021
The Heidelberg Laureate Forum was established based on the model of the Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings. The event offers a select group of exceptional young mathematicians and computer scientists the opportunity to meet prize-winning individuals from their disciplines. These include winners of the Abel Prize, the ACM A.M. Turing Award, the Fields Medal, and the Rolf Nevanlinna Prize. The week-long networking event promotes dialogue across generations, with a mix of conference elements alongside a varied programme of activities. Lectures by the laureates, workshops, and a structure designed to encourage exchange are the foundation of the forum. Throughout the event, young researchers have the unique opportunity to engage in intensive discussions with pioneering figures in their fields.
Young scientists at all stages of their careers (students, doctoral researchers, postdocs) are invited to apply for one of the 200 highly coveted places.
